Even during Corona times, Automation has continued to grow at full speed. In order to continue that success, we are now looking for a new Project Engineer DCF.

Your function:

The Project Engineer DCF is responsible for the elaboration of the following points and this according to the guidelines of the Product Manager DCF & CCO.

  • Preparation of production files according to the agreed rules and procedures;
  • Preparation of the production and/or installation files, including preparation of the electrical plan and Bill of Material (BOM), cost price calculation, organisation of site visit, etc
  • Following up and supervising, in consultation with the production manager, the production of the production files drawn up by them;
  • Drawing up user manuals;
  • Organising and supervising the delivery of an installation (on site or FAT);
  • Drawing up and checking assembly and cabling guidelines;
  • Evaluating the post-calculation of completed projects and discussing with the CCO and providing the necessary feedback to Account Managers and/or Product Managers with the aim of being able to carry out the pre-calculation of future projects as realistically as possible;
  • Managing a Team Leader;
  • Monitoring the administrative processing of projects (shipyards) in ERP;
  • Creating article numbers of technical components according to the agreed rules.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor/Master in Engineering Electricity/Electromechanics/Cooling Techniques (or equivalent by experience);
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in one of the following fields: electricity, mechanics, electronics, refrigeration, fire protection, access control or monitoring platform;
  • Proven project management skills and knowledge of different project management methodologies;
  • Skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Passionate about the facilities aspect of data centres and willing to share knowledge and experience with others;
  • Fluent in Dutch/French and English;
  • Assertive and good (change) communicator;
  • Knowledge of Windows, MS Office and ERP systems (Navision is a plus);
  • Continuous interest and training in the field.
