To further support our growth, we are looking for a Test Engineer who wants to help build reliable and high-performance power and data centre solutions.

Your impact as a Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer, you are the key person in ensuring quality and reliability. You are responsible for the end-to-end validation of our solutions.

You will develop and implement a structured and agile validation approach and ensure that every system meets all requirements in terms of performance, reliability, safety and compliance.

Through your work, you will ensure that we deliver projects to our customers ‘first-time-right’ and without any outstanding issues.

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for planning, executing and monitoring:

  • Electrical testing

  • Functional and system validation

  • Load and stress testing

  • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) & Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

for transformers, electrical distribution systems, power racks, cooling , monitoring, suppression and security systems and fire detection. You will use pre-agreed test lists for this.

In addition you will:

  • draw up clear test documentation (plans, procedures, reports, analyses);

  • proactively identify issues and ensure smooth handover without any outstanding issues;

  • carry out root cause analyses and work closely with engineering, production and quality;

  • actively contribute to continuous improvement and standardisation;

  • provide training to customers on validated systems;

Job requirements

You are a technical professional with a passion for quality and systems:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics or Engineering, or a Master’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Sciences: Electromechanics;

  • Experience in testing, validation, automation and troubleshooting;

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in problem-solving and root cause analysis;

  • Structured, meticulous and quality-oriented;

  • Knowledge of electrical power systems;

  • Experience with validation methodologies and quality assurance;

  • Basic knowledge of Python or scripting;

  • Language skills: French and proficient in English or Dutch.
