Technician industrial electricity

To continue this success, we are looking for several Industrial Electricity Technicians for our Datacentre Facilities department.

As a Datacentre Facilities Technician, you will work on industrial electrical installations in containers. You will ensure that various tasks are properly prepared, started and checked. You will work according to a clear plan and work accurately to tight deadlines. Depending on the size of your project, you will work alone or in a team. In addition, you will keep the working environment safe and tidy for yourself and your colleagues.

Some of your tasks:

In this position, you will combine industrial electricity with precise cabling and assembly of industrial modules and technical installations in containers:

• Assembling and installing electrical conduits, cables, cable trays and support systems.

• Carefully laying, bundling and finishing cables in accordance with standards.

• Integrating electrical panels, cooling units, emergency power supplies, generators, fire control panels and access control systems.

• Carrying out checks and testing the assembled equipment

We are looking for a meticulous technician with an eye for detail and quality work:

• You have completed at least a TSO or BSO course in electricity, preferably industrial electricity.

• You can read and interpret complex electrical drawings.

• You have several years of experience in industrial electrical installations.

• You are comfortable working with machines and tools.

• You work independently, think ahead and communicate easily.

• You work in an orderly and careful manner and respect safety procedures.

• You speak Dutch or French (English is a plus).

• You have BA4, BA5 and VCA certification or are willing to obtain it.

• Plus point: Experience with fibre, Roxtec cable entries, HVAC or alarm systems.
