To further support our growth, we are looking for a Test Engineer who wants to help build reliable and high-performance power and data centre solutions.

Your impact as a Component Manager

As a Component Manager you are responsible for the end-to-end ownership, standardisation, and optimisation of components within our power and data centre solutions.

The role ensures that all components are standardized, cost-efficient, available, and future-proof across their full lifecycle. Given the importance of scalability, speed, and cost control, this position is inherently strategic, bridging engineering, supply chain, procurement, and the business objectives.

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

Component Strategy & Lifecycle Management. You will need to, among other things,

• create and maintain the component masterdata in the ERP system

• own the full lifecycle and will develop and maintain component roadmaps aligned with product strategy

• ensure components are scalable and reusable across product lines

• co-define, -select, and -approve components

Risk & Performance Management

• by monitoring reliability, performance, and compliance of all components

• by proactively manage risks related to lead times, obsolescence and single sourcing

Supplier & Market Alignment by acting as the technical counterpart to Procurement in supplier discussions

In addition you will:

• Be the liaison to Engineering

• Callaborate Cross-Functional by acting as the key interface between Engineering and procurement and by supporting other teams

• You have a master’s degree (or a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years expercience), preferably in electro-mechanics

• You have:

  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components, preferably within power and data centre environments

  • Solid grasp of system-level impact of component decisions

  • Knowledgeable with modular product architectures and scalable design principles

• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset

• Experience contributing to commercial offers and margin optimisation

• Basic knowledge of Python or scripting;

• Language skills: French, Dutch and English.
